After the besieging the 'red zone' in at the capital city, Islamabad, protesting public that was being charged by riot police barges into the parliament lawns and just sits there instead of entering the building or rioting with the military guards (who were now outnumbered vastly) during the recent Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek joint protests against the government.
Both parties asked the prime minister to resign due to election rigging allegations and corruption, rioted when they were assaulted by the police and yet did not engage any Pakistan Army personnel putting the country's military in a neutral position.
